Role description
For a financial institution (a large universal bank) we are looking for a System Analyst to implement and develop card payment processing systems. The implementation project started a few months ago; in this role you will connect business needs with technology solutions, working with IT, operations, security teams and vendors.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse business needs and define system requirements.
- Design integrations, data flows and interface specifications between payment systems.
- Align solutions with the business, IT architecture, security and vendors.
- Support testing, clarify defects and take part in deployments.
- Create and maintain analytical and technical documentation.
Required competencies
- 5+ years of experience in system analysis in banking or the payments industry.
- Knowledge of card payment processes: transaction acquiring, authorisation, clearing and settlement, POS terminal handling.
- Experience with host-to-host integrations (ISO 8583) and REST APIs.
- Hands-on SQL and system integration knowledge.
- Ability to write requirements, model processes and communicate clearly with business and technical teams.
Nice to have
- Experience in large implementation projects in the banking sector.
- Working with payment system vendors.
Language requirements
Polish (fluent) and English sufficient for working with documentation and vendors
