Role significance and description
This role is designed for an experienced cybersecurity advisory professional capable of leading consulting projects, guiding teams, and supporting enterprise clients with cybersecurity challenges, risk management, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate combines strong consulting discipline with practical knowledge of European regulations and cybersecurity transformation.
Key responsibilities
- Lead advisory and implementation projects in cybersecurity and digital trust.
- Manage client relationships and coordinate consultant teams.
- Shape cybersecurity strategies and GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) operating models.
- Support business development by identifying client needs and participating in proposal preparation.
- Conduct compliance audits, security maturity assessments, and third-party risk management (TPRM).
Required competencies
- 5-8 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or related fields (for Senior level; Mid and Lead candidates are also welcome).
- Team leadership capabilities, strong executive presence, and excellent communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with European regulations and frameworks: DORA, NIS2, ISO/IEC 27001.
- Deep knowledge of cyber risk management and GRC transformation.
- Fluency in English (min. C1) and proficiency in at least one additional European language (e.g. German).
Nice to have competencies & certifications
- Industry certifications: ISC2 CGRC, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor / Implementer.
- Expertise in AI Security, Cloud Security, and DevSecOps.
- Experience in vendor/supplier risk management and crisis/incident response readiness.
Language requirements
English (fluent / C1) and at least one European language (e.g. German B2+)
